A classic slouch fedora with a twist...or three.  Rich brown wool felt.  The crown has a relaxed silhouette and is accented with three loops at the front and a bow at the back.  The hat sits atop the head (rather than down on it) and looks best worn at a tilt.  The hat may require a hat pin to attach it to your hair.
